Good Monday Morning!

You know the old saying April showers bring May flowers. Well our April has started a few days early! I'm sure by the amount of rain that we recieved over night, the gardens will be over flowing!!

Tiffany and Junior got off ,and the tears flowed a little bit. Gramma and Grandpa are enjoying their time with Brayden. I think he was a little sad, when he got up from his nap and Mommy and Daddy hadn't returned. But all in all we had a good day.

Didn't get any stamping done. But I do have a 12x12 page that I made awhile ago.

When Brayden sleeps today I'm going to try and get some stamping done, unless I need a nap also. And that very well could be..
Thanks for looking.

Good Morning,
What a nice day! An exciting day for me, later on this afternoon I will be seeing Brayden. I’m leaving sometime this morning to drive there.
We will be driving back on Friday afternoon, and attending Skip’s sisters wedding in the evening.
Yesterday I didn’t get any crafting done :( . After doing a few loads of laundry in the dryer it decides to stop working. Well 2 fuses blew! So finally Skip got it working again Yeah.
My card for the day is another 3x3.

This stamp set is called Eight Great Greetings #113822 from the occasions mini…

I am really sorry about the quality of the photo.

Good Morning...

Here is a 3x3 Easter card using the Eight Great Greeting from the occasions mini.

Again not a great photo. You can order this set now, even though the mini only starts April 1st.

Last night I worked for HOURS on a power point presentation. This is the frist time I have tried it. Should of started it a lot sooner as I need it for tonight. I think its ok for a beginner. Cody helped me add some music.

Until later Happy Stamping

Good Morning Stampers

Good day!

I have some new stamps to play with got them mounted last night. And that's where they sit I will be playing a little later today.
Just a week left to get those SALE-A-BRATION items you want. Once April 1st rolls around they are gone for good. Also the Anniversary Special is running until the 28th. I will be out of town Thursday and returning Friday.
Do you know anyone who keeps a box of emails to read and re-read time and time again? Neither do I. But I know plenty of people who have boxes of cards and handwritten letters, they re-read over and over again! People love to keep personal notes and letters. So why not make someone’s day and make your card and mail it off. I have lots of old cards around. Most of these cards have something special about them – who they came from, the occasion or maybe a just because card! In my kids baby books I have the cards that was sent when they were born. As much as you enjoy making your cards others are also enjoying looking at them.
Here is another card using the Just Buzzin By set!
Thanks for stopping in,
See ya tomorrow

Uuggghhh!!! The demo's in Hawaii have been told that they cannot give any sneak peeks out :(
Just to say that we will love all that is new! Hmmp the waiting game is on I guess. June is when it will all be revealed. But you never know something might get out sooner. I will keep my eyes opened and if I do see something I will for sure let you know.

Good Monday Morning!

Hi all!
I used the Flight of the Butterfly here. I cased this and sorry I cannot remember where I found it. I really need to start making notes.
Another Monday has arrive. I have so much work to do this week, in getting ready to have Brayden here for a week. I have to pick up any glass trinkets that he could get hurt on. I don't move a lot of things just things that he could get hurt with.

I also have to do some planning for upcoming classes and club night. And the week that Brayden is here I know I will not be getting awhole lot done. I want to enjoy him all I can :) I love being a Gramma!
Don't forget about my sale that is happening , also just a few more days for Sale-a- Bration. From the upcoming occassions mini you can order the Easter sets.
Have a creative day and thanks for popping in.

Good Morning Stampers

The Just Buzzin By class yesterday last flew right on by. All the cards came out terrific.

What drives you crazy??? Well one thing for me is when my Stampin’Up! Order is sitting in Quebec for a few days. It will be Monday before the boxes arrive. They (the boxes) arrive in Quebec on the 19th! Wish we had deliver on the weekends! We could be playing with our new goodies.!
I only have 4 more sleeps! Until I see Brayden ;) then he will be coming here. And staying with Grandpa and Gramma for a week. I’m so excited… Hopefully when he does come here we will have some spring weather so we can get outdoor and play.

Next week there should be some sneak peaks coming out. This week there are demo’s in Hawaii , yes you read correct Hawaii for a Stampin’ Up! Conference. These gals worked really hard to earn this trip! Should be hearing what the new In Colors will be for July and maybe some designer paper who knows maybe a stamp set or two! We will have to wait and see.
I will try and get some take a few photo's today and will post later.
Thanks for stoping in.

Sherry

Good Morning...

Hi Stampers,

First I have to say a special HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Tiffany. I know you have to work but have a great day...

Hope you are all doing fine on this sunny day! I have a blister ouch! I punched out a ton of hearts. My sister-in-law is getting married and wanted Taken with Teal and Chocolate Chip hearts confetti, so punching away is what I have been doing. Happy to say I'm all done, don't think that my fingers could take much more :)

If you own the wide oval punch. I realized that it makes great looking Easter eggs! There is still a few spots left for the girls class on Wednesday, give me a call today.

I made this cute litte frog with punches. I haven't put him on a card yet was just playing around and seeing what he would look like. CUTE....

If you don't have a demonstrator and are interested in the mini occasions catalogue send me your snail mail address and I will mail one out to you!

My email is sherry.muise@ns.sympatico.ca

Thanks for stopping by and have a creative day..

Good Monday Morning!

Hi,

Don’t forget to register for the “Just Buzzin By” class. Registration date is on or before March 18th. Class will be held Saturday 21st at 1pm or Sunday 22nd at 2pm. Book your spot early!
Well last night I was going to go on my msn live messenger and it froze. Apparently it did more than freeze as I cannot access that program now. Grrr.. computers sometimes I would just like to throw it. Not sure what we will do when Cody moves, as he is our go to guy now. I’m sure he is not going to want phone calls from Mom all the time asking what to do! And today I found that the computer is running slow, especially on some sites.
March break is this week, I will have Giovanni here every day with me this week.

I made this luggage tag, on the back it has my name, address and phone number and a little flower stamped. The girls will be making these on Wednesday. Today is the last day to register for this class.

Sunday, March 15, 2009

Good Morning...

Hi ALL....

One of the many benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is the monthly magazine - Stampin’ Success - that we receive! It’s chock full of business and stamping ideas and the March issue had this cute Hinged Card! I think if you look around at different blogs you will start to see many Hinged cards sprouting up!
Here is my Hinged card:
I'm having a lot of fun using this stamp set "Just Buzzin By"
Have a great day enjoy...

I managed to get a bit of stamping in last night. I made a Purse-a-Lope which was created by Carolina Buchting . I put 2 York mints but it could hold more. Don't you think this is cute? And its super easy to make also!
I used the Yummy stamp set from Sale-a-Bration. Hurry just 2 weeks left to get your FREE Sale-a-Bration products. The ribbon is from the ribbon bundle...
Hope you all have a great day. I plan on getting caught up on some of my stamping.

The sun was shining yesterday but the wind was raw. Just went right through you! Seems like this winter we have had our share of wind!

Every time I sit down to stamp and then I start “blurfing” (blog surfing) and time gets carried away. No stamping gets done then before I know it time has flown by.

I joined an image swap. I’m stamping out 2 images as I put myself in for 2 spots. In return I will get 9 different images from each group. I’m excited about this as I do not own any of the images I will be getting back.
Another week has flown by!
Have a good day

Hello

Last night we had some very heavy rain. But I guess it's much better than snow in my opinion. The class schedule is now posted on my Stampin’ Up! Business site. Pop on over and check it out. Might just be a class you are wanting to take.
There is no card to post again today. I will try and get some pictures taken today. Then if I have time I will post later on.
You know I’m liking that the evenings are lighter outside. But I just cannot seem to get my body adjusted to this time change. I am a night owl and all week have been forcing myself to go to bed, come mornings I just want to stay in bed. How long does it take for your body to adjust to the 1 hour difference. I would think that it shouldn’t take a long time.

I don’t own this stamp set yet but its on my wish list. Its called
Fifth Avenue Floral #113734

The beautiful, modern flowers in the Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set share the sophistication and styling of its namesake. You can choose to watercolor these line-art images, or leave them uncolored and layer them for a refined floral collection.
Set of: 5

Until later keep on stamping.

Good Morning...

How many of you remember to set your clocks ahead? We did, not that we wanted to though.

I do however like the fact that it will be lighter in the evenings now.

Well I thought I had my cards all planned out for hostess club Monday night. I was just getting the paper ready to cut. When I started thinking I may want to change on of the cards.

This is a card we made in the last hostess club night. Its the baby wipe swipe technique
I think they all turned out great.
Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
Thanks for popping in today see ya tomorrow.

Good Saturday Morning!

Hi Stampers....
I see that I'm still having some trouble with the time stamp. Not sure why this is posting under Friday's date.
The weekend is here, hope you are enjoying yours! Today our weather is supposed to see the sun and temperature should rise to +7 c. Oh my can’t wait to see that sunshine…
Later on today I will be holding a stamp class using mainly all SAB products. We will be using the olive glitter from the fine supernova #114287. Last night was the first time I used this color. I put some in my container got the spoon ready with glitter. SOME how I hit the spoon and the glitter went up in the air . Like the song says what goes up must come down , Yup all over me and the desk… I sparkled for the rest of the night :)
From now on Saturday’s post will also include information about Stampin’ Up! Products.
If I could come up with a catchy title I would of but right now I must be having a brain freeze.
So we will start off with-
2-Way Glue Pen #100425
Features & Benefits
■ Permanent or temporary bond
■ Dries quickly
■ Great for adhering glitter
■ Blue when wet; clear when dry
■ 10 grams
■ Chisel tip
■ Washes off skin with soap and water
Quick Trick
Need a temporary bond for a stencil or mask? Or what about a permanent bond for
a card or page? Look no further than the 2-Way Glue Pen. Wow your customers with a
demonstration of the two methods for using the 2-Way Glue Pen:
1. Wet bond (permanent bond). While the glue is still blue and wet, immediately make the
bond. Use a wet bond when you apply glitter.
2. Dry bond (temporary). Apply glue lightly and wait for the adhesive to dry (it will become
clear). Use this method when masking or positioning stencils. When you are finished, you
can remove the bond easily
FYI
To start the 2-Way Glue Pen, push the tip in a few times and allow the glue to saturate the
tip (the tip will turn blue). Always replace the cap after use.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by enjoy.
Sherry

Happy Friday Morning to You!

The days are getting longer! I noticed last night, that it was after 6 before the sun went down. Even though the sun was shining yesterday it was still COLD.
Wow its Friday again, where did the week go? I don't know about you but I find the weeks just fly on by.

Exciting news...
Coming in April a brand new punch…. Scallop Oval punch $19.95. Imagine the possibilities with this. Definitely a must on my list of "needs" wants. I love punches don’t you?
Here's my card pick of the day.

Using the stamp set Refuge and Strength # 115056
Have a great day...

Hello...

I would like to give a shout out to my upline Ruthie…. Check out her great blog http://www.rainbowkreations.blogspot.com/ Her cards are just amazing.

I just have to tell you what happened to me. I was stamping the other night and was using the marker to color the stamp. When I went to give it a huff, I came just a little too close to my mouth ! Yup I was wearing Bashful Blue lipstick lol… Didn’t taste that great either. So lesson learned don’t put an inked stamp too close to you mouth.. Now that’s what I should of took a picture of. Thank goodness it washed off , or I wouldn't of been leaving the house!

Today’s card uses the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set #111618. Bella Rose DSP #112041. Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red card stock .Old Olive 5/8” grosgrain ribbon # 109054.

I really need to start taking better photos! oh well at least it still can be seen..
Thanks for taking a look today... And I also have to learn how to make watermarks on my photo's maybe in the next couple of weeks I can work on that...
Sherry

Good Morning...

Last night we had a Demo meeting, it was nice getting together and swap our creations. Here are the swap cards I received . Well ,I see that I forgot to take a photo of the one I made. I did the faux postage technique. It‘s really fun and easy. I think I will be making a few cards with this technique. Guess I will have to make one for me now.
The Thank you card is from my online friend Donna. She had a little contest going on that I joined didn’t win. But Donna was nice to send out a card with a few surprises in it. I got 3 Bella images! I do not own any Bella stamps and have always wanted to try them out. Thank you Donna.
Today I will be busy working on more cards for the class on Saturday afternoon. There is still some spots available if you would like one send me an email...

Good Morning Stampers

The ice came then the rain. We were very lucky that our power stayed on. It rained very heavy in the night I'm sure there is lots of flooding today.

I got to see Brayden on web cam last night. He had a kiss for Gramma, but I was looking the other way and missed it :( There was no way he was going to do it again. This is Brayden -------- isn't he a cutie....
Today's card is using the SAB set Polka Dot Punches #113788, Delicate Dot DSP #114674 and the So Saffron ribbon from the Ribbon Bundle #114618. The more I use this set the more I'm liking it. This is one of the cards we will be making Saturday's class. This is a z fold card.

Thanks for taking a peek today.

Another Winter Storm..

Good Monday Morning!
We are expected to get roughly 4 yes 4 hours of freezing rain. I would say there goes our power! Hopefully not, but if it does at least I can still stamp until my fingers get too cold. I know one thing I’m not liking this. Hello - Spring where are you?
I have been working on swap cards again. We are having a local demo meeting Tuesday night. You know when stampers get together they want to swap. I will post my swap cards on Wednesday.

Here is another card made using the Embrace Life set.

Embrace Life #114958. Card stock is basic black, Kiwi Kiss, and whisper white. 5/8" striped grosgrain ribbon #111372. And the new eyelet border punch #113692.
