I hope that you all had a Merry Christmas. Skip and I spent Christmas with our kids and grandkids. Unfortunately We both got the flu so Christmas was  misserable time for us. I'm feeling better now, and Skip is starting to get better.

Global Warming,

Good Morning Stampers,
Global warming I would say here we are December 7th and its 11c out and a thick fog lays over Yarmouth.
I have a couple of shares for you today. We made these 2 days in out last coffee and card class.

I love the fire hydrant. It came out so cute.

This past Monday we had a last Hostess Club night meet for 2011. We had a really fun night. Have you ever tried Stampin' Up Bowling? Its funny, I set up reinkers "pins" and for the "bowling ball " we used the jumbo stampin' wheel. Oh my was this every funny.
We exchanged cards and what great cards they were.
I do have a few spots open for the 2012 Hostess Club year if your interested in joining. Give me shout via email, phone or in person!

We meet the 2nd Monday of each month and this year it will be at my house the last 3 years we have been at the Superstore community room.

Good Morning Stampers,

It’s a beautiful crisp Saturday morning here. Hopefully your weather is nice where you are also.

Wow did it ever seem weird this morning that Skip was still home he was been working Saturdays since sometime in the summer. Buddy didn’t like it as when Skip goes to work he jumps on the bed to sleep!

This past week I did a tag class and here are some of the tags.

        

It was a fun class to do. Now I have to get ready for my Coffee and card class on Wednesday, there are still a few spots available if you want to join us. Send me an email.

Crazy for Cupcakes

Good Afternoon,

If you were in the path of Irene I hope that all is safe with you. We got a lot of wind.

I did manage to get into the stamp room for a bit this past week. Here is one card I made Using the Crazy for Cupcakes # 111618 this only comes in wood. 

                        

I added a little dazzling diamonds glitter to my brad, Crystal effects to the sprinkles and dazzling diamonds to the flame and candle.

One Sheet Wonder Template

A=  2 '’x 21/8  Cut 3

E= 2” x 5 1/2” Cut 1

B= 2 5/8” x 3 3/8” Cut 4

C= 5 1/4’ x 1 3/4” Cut 3

D= 4 3/4’ x 2 1/8” Cut 3

E= 2” x 5 1/2 Cut 2

A = 1/4” x 5 1/2

All Cards will have a Whisper White piece that is stamped measurements in previous post. This piece will be matted on a piece of card stock A.

Then layer on your card bases.

I will try to come up with a better format to tell you..

One Sheet Wonder

Good Afternoon,

I have been reading the book The Help and cannot seem to put it down. Can’t wait to go see the movie. So because of the book I did not get the rest of my cards finished but I will show you what I have done so far.

One Sheet Wonder.. Do any internet search and you will come up with lots. I took a 12x12 sheet of Designer Series Paper and cut it into 19 different size cuts.

Next I took a sheet of  Whisper White card stock into 16~ 2-1/8" x 2-1/2" pieces.

You also need 2 sheet of card stock Color A and 2 Sheets of Color B

16 card bases

I then took Color A and made 16 pieces of 2-3/8" x 2-3/4" and three pieces of 2-1/4" x 2-3/8"

Cut four 3-3/4" x 5" pieces and two 2" x 5-1/2" pieces of Color B

You will have some left over scraps.

Then with all the piece I placed then on the card bases. Not putting adhesive until I get everything ready. Then I start stamping the Whisper white .

Adding embellishments as needed.

Here is 4 that are finished. The great thing about using Designer Series Paper that you have 2 sides of pattern to work with.
