2010

Good Day Stampers,

Trying our my MDS again. This is one of the highlights of 2010 for our family. The addition of Brooklynn Roze. Warms Grammas heart when I look at this photo.

We had a terrifc time away. Brayden was so excited and just couldnt' seem to contain his excitement. Brooklynn was smiling and looking around. When her gums were not bothering her. Hopefully her teeth will pop though SOON!

Skip is busy in the basement painting the ceiling and trim. Can't wait to start moving my stuff down there...

My preorder arrived the other day, so far the only thing I have done is made sure I received everything, and put it back in the box. I will need to dig it out soon and start working on new samples.

Monday Night Scrappers will be starting up on January 10th. And the Big Shot club will also be starting no date has been finalized yet for this. There is still room in the Big Shot club, if you would like to join.

 Brayden is getting very over whelmed with all the company and gifts that are coming into the house. Wait until he sees Gramma and Grandpa and BUDDY... Oh my he will never calm down. He does not remember last years Christmas.. So everything is new and exciting to him and of course. SANTA is thrilling in itself..
I made this scrapbook page of Brayden. Swinging. When he swings I always sing to him... Swinging on a swing , swinging up so high, Brayden can almost touch his feet right against the sky...

Good Morning
 Well the 2 more sleeps... And it seems like I still have so much to do!
Well Buddy woke up with bad breath this morning as he got off the bed, put his front paws on the dresser took off a open pkg of CERTS and ate them!

My share today is table treats.. Each little candy wrapper has a truffle inside..YUMM

I still have a few more to put together. Here I used the Big Shot, Bigz Candy Wrapper Die. Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip. Jolly Holly Designer series Paper. Tags til Christmas Stamp set. and the tag punches.

My Digital Studio

Good Day,
I got to play with my digital studio last night. Oh my I really need time to sit and figure it out. And read and play. But anyways I made 1 card took all night but I did it. Not the greatest card couldn't get it how I wanted it to go. I need to figure out how to add the layers differently.

Can't wait until I have the time to sit and play with this... Could be fun..
Anyways.. Believe it or not this took me a few hours to make LOL.. Hope I get faster.

Good Morning,
Over the weekend I had major internet problems. Couldn't get my mail. Try to log on to a site and wouldnt' go. Finally it fixed itself I guess. I was trying to do things -not really knowing what I was doing lucky I did not destroy the computer lol!
My share for today is not quite ready I need to put the finishing touches on them. They will be posted later on.

Let it snow Let it snow..

Let it snow well that is what its doing now. It can snow all it wants this week as long as its not a storm to travel in on Christmas Eve.
This is what Buddy is up to when I do my wrapping he sits and waits for the rolls to be empty so he can play and chew then up!

Good Morning Stampers,
Are you all ready for the BIG DAY? I'm not even close. Seems like it running up to me faster and faster each year. I think the day used to creap and then walk fast, now running :(  Yesterday I got just about everything wrapped that I have and now I need to go out and pick up a few more gifts.
Today my parcels will get mailed. I know a little slow at doing that!
Carpenter is all finished. What's left is for Skip and I to do. He has to get the counter in, make a casing for the supported beam that is there. And paint. What's Sherrys job you say... I will clean up and supervise lol.. I will help with the painting,,

Happy Holidays Stamping Friends,
The wind and the rains have died down in our area. Lots of people in Nova Scotia and out of power today because of the high winds.
Today is the last day the carpenter is here. The counter top and cabinet will go in later. Not sure how much else will get done before Christmas. Last night I was cruising around the internet and found these cute tags.  So I printed them off and colored them in.

The santa on bottom is big the top pic they are small size. Today I think I will add a little bling and glitter to them.
Last night I had a coffee date with an old friend. It was really nice.

Retired Polar Pals

Good Afternoon Stampers,
I have been busy trying to get my cards all addressed and mailed, I'm finding out I'm a few cards short. I just made this one. It is using a retired stampset called Polar Pal and igloo stamp I picked up.

This morning I ran out to get stamps and pick something up at the Mall. Well I got to the doors and the power shut off. Think it was a sign to stay away...

Christmas tree

Hello Stampers,
I didnt' make it back on here this weekend. Its been a busy one.

Yesterday we went to Digby to get my counter top and doors. This was the road conditions as we drove. Roughly an hours drive away,

We made it there bought the counter top and doors for the craft room. Then later in the day we went and picked up the ceiling paint, primer. Today I picked up the rollers and paint brush, door knobs, hinges.

My share today is a ornament I made for the tree. the hardest thing was trying to get it to stay in place. I used sticky tape, glue dots finally it came together and stayed...

Then today we put our Christmas tree up. I'm used to a pine tree this is a spruce tree. I like it its different.
I have lots of snowman on the tree. And the topper is a SnowLady. She should have a little more light on her.

My village is under the tree this year.

Winter Wishes

Morning,
It's a chilly one out there. A light snowfall happening.
Cody is on his way back home today he has been working in this area all week. Soon as he was up and out of bed Buddy was right there waiting to get on the bed!
My share today is a mixture of stamps. I like how the card came out.

Today I'm going to try and get my cards addressed and some gifts wrapped so next week I will be able to get my baking done.

My craft/class room is coming along they putting gyroc on the walls today... 1 step closer :).
Did you know that during the 2 weeks of the Starter Kit Promo, over 9000 people signed up! WOW.. The kits are starting to arrive if they haven't all ready. I remember getting my kit I took pictures lol..
I expedited the club order from last night. It has shipped already. Says arrival date is the 10th. We shall see.
Hostess Club only has a few spots left if you would like to join up. And the Big Shot Club will also be starting in January.

Christmas Club

Good Morning Stampers,
Our Monday Night Stampers meet last night for the last club night of the year. We had such a great time.Lots of great cards which I will show a little farther down this post. Plenty to eat and drink. A really nice evening together.

We played a game where each member had to come and pick a pieces of a card as they drew their pieces out I would write down the order they drew. Then I read a little story about elves that had to make Santas Christmas cards. In the story the elves would direct you to when to put your piece. Everyones came out good, some had to put their thinking cards on to make it work. The other day I showed you all the bells I was cutting out this is what they were for. Here is my sample.

I was busy working on candles the past few weeks. I made a candle for each of the club members:

Gold Dasher

Good Morning Stampers,
I woke up to a snowstorm, no power. What a way to start a Monday. The power finally come on about 40 mins ago. The furnace has been running non-stop since it was starting to get a little chilly in here.
Now the power is on I hear lots of noise coming from the  downstairs area.. I love to hear that sound right now anyways. As I know that soon I will be able to be crafting down there :)
I was going to show you what I did with all those bells but I changed my mind so I will show you tomorrow what I did with them!

My card share today is another Dasher card. Here I have used gold embossing powder and Concord Crush cardstock along with Whisper White. Concord Crush ribbon.

Today is the last day to get your orders to be to be sure that all instock items arrive in time for Christmas.

Tonight is our last Monday Night Scrappers Club meeting, for 2010. I sure that we will have lots of fun and plenty to eat..
