Hi all,
I'm just going to have to say that again today no card to post...:(
I will be with out an internet hook up while I'm away. They can only get someone in the first of next week. :( no TV, internet what am I going to do.. So I will resume my posting as soon as I return home. And I will flood you with new cards lol...
I could probably get a few cards done in the evenings but Brayden is Gramma's boy and only wants me... And most nights it has been close to 10 or later that he falls asleep.. And by that point I need my sleep... Don't get me wrong I LOVE having him here and I can sleep once he is gone. And once he is gone I'm I know that we will really miss him.. I wish the weather had been nicer, I wanted to do a lot more outdoor things with him... Oh well maybe his Mommy and Daddy will let him come back again for a week...

Today is laundry day. I want to get Brayden's laundry done and start on packing his clothes and things up. I then have to pack for myself.

Again this morning I do not have a card...Yesterday Brayden was up a 6 and only had a 50 min nap needless to say when 10 came last night and Brayden was finally asleep I went to bed too.. Only to have him wake at 11 just for a few minutes, then awake at 6 but slept on Gramma until 7 ish..He only has 3 more sleeps here at Gramma's house..

Good Day Stampers...

Yay!! I managed to get a card made... Oh and it felt good to sit and be creative for a little bit...

I'm so glad that Skip got our house painted when he did. Or we would still be waiting for the sun to shine and dry out the house.. Now someday hopefully we will have sun for a day or 2 and we can get the shed painted. It's all scrapped just waiting for that coat of paint.

Brayden was full of energy last night not sure what stuck him :) he was just about alseep when somewhere in the neighbourhood fireworks started going off. And the dog is Soooo scared of them he jumped almost in my lap with Brayden! Buddy is not allowed on the couch. And Skip was sitting there also. You know that dog was scared. Good thing it didn't last too long... Poor dog to be so scared. Then I had to start all over with Brayden to get him to sleep. But he zonked out really fast...

My card for today is a boy's birthday one... I think the image is so cute. This is a retired SU stamp...

Saturday...

Good Morning...
What a misserable wet day we had.. I personally do not want to see anymore rain for a LONG LONG time...Enough is enough...
Poor Brayden, I bought some baby Aveno bath powder, WELL! I will not use that again. I think it made him worse. He scratched for close to 2.5 hours after his bath... I didnt' think he would ever fall asleep I kept trying to rub him but that wasn't good enough for him... I felt so bad as I just couldn't do anything to help...
I didn't get any cards done yesterday. Though I did get my SU order. It is checked off and that's it. Orders will get out over the weekend or on Monday...

Take care MAYBE and that's a big maybe with Skip home I will be able to get a card or 2 made this weekend.... I sure will try...

It's Friday....

Hello Stampers...

Well my SU order should arrive this afternoon. Not sure how, or if I will be able to get it sorted as fast as usually with Brayden here. I may have to wait until this evening when Skip is home...

I managed to get a card put together yesterday. Its another Bella card... The '' just saying hello!'' is from the Chit Chat rub ons... And I used a fire circle rhinestone brad for the middle of the flower...

The orange and DSP are papers I had around the card base is Green Galore..

1 family member left yesterday and 3 more go today. That leave 2 left who will be leaving on Monday ( I think). It has been a lot of fun having them here, even though I had to go home early most nights because of Brayden I still had plenty of laughs and memories...

Did some more visiting with Family last evening,didnt' stay too late as I wanted to get Brayden to bed..





I did manage to get this card done last night..
I colored the image in with my markers.. Melon Mambo card stock and ribbon. Ribbon holder is from the Hodgepodge collection.
And I used the Big Shot to cut the top note.

That's my quick post of the day lol...

Tuesday Morning!

Good Morning Stampers....

I guess my post will be short while I have Brayden here... And I hope to keep posting everyday...

Yesterday I did manage to get some images colored in, so that's one step done.

And I managed to get a card put together..

I got Brayden's pool out for him while he was napping Oh boy did he every have fun when when he got up... I had to fight to get him out but I was scared he would get a sun burn even though he had sunscreen on.. He had SOOOO much fun. Even wanted Gramma to get in the pool... I only put my feet in... He kept calling it a bath~and I would say no pool... but no it was a bath...

The water was as warm as bath water though.. The sun really heated it up...

The card is made with the stamp set Dreams du Jour #111624 set of 4 for $24.95. Card Stock is Melon Mambo #115320

And DSP is Razzleberry Lemonade #115675 $13.25

Happy Monday...

Good day...

The kids have all gone back to their homes. Brayden is here with me for just about 2 more weeks.

I picked this stamp up a the local dollar store. And used lavender flower soft I like how it turned out. . Oops I see the card is quite crooked. Must held the camera on an angle.

I'm hoping to be able to stamp when Brayden naps... Well that is my plan right now.lol..

Anyways.. I'm off to do some laundry...

Good morning,
I didnt' get a chance to get a photo taken of the card I wanted to put on. We had a very late night last night. Played games, chatted, laughed alot. And came home way too late. Poor Brayden it was just too hard for him to settle down. Close to 1 before he finally gave in.. Then Cody had major problems with his car he had here for the weekend. Needless to say- if you own a car do not go and borrow someone elses, NO matter how nice you think it looks!!!!!!!!!!
Tiffany, Junior, Cody and Tasha will all be going home today... I sure hope that Brayden makes out ok with his Mommy gone...

Fifth Avenue Floral

Hello,

I reread yesterday's post and the family surprised me with a cake not a card. Must have card on my brain hahaha!

Yesterday the fireworks were cancelled the FOG stayed around ALL day. They will try again tonight but, I think it will be a no go also. We had a fairly lazy day, I colored in some images I had stamped, had a cat nap. Watch the classic cars in the evening. Late in the evening Cody, Tasha and Junior arrived. Brayden was just about asleep , but was soon up.

Tiffany made a card so I will use that on here today. Actually she made up a couple cards.

Did I tell you that I got the stamping up Marvelous Markers complete set! I'm loving them, trying to color my images in, is a little different and takes practise. But, I guess so does alot of things..

Well today we are off to say Good-Bye to my Aunt and Uncle, there is a parade late this afternoon, then we are all gathering at Mom's for an evening of games and fun....

Hopefully I will get a quick nap in somewhere!

Spring Song

Good Friday Morning,

Tiffany, Brayden and I went to the sidewalk sale and we picked up a few things. Found this cute little heart charms with Brayden's name on them for .25 cents. Never seem to find his name on anything.

We had the family potluck. YUMMY!!! And to my surprise they had a birthday card for me. Thank you.... and I got some beautiful flowers...

Yesterday I worked on and finished my telephone swap card. I will get that in the mail today. Once everyone has recieved and made their cards I will be able to post mine on here.

And I made this card too....

The spring song # 115074 is a set of 3 for $20.95 . Cardstock is Crushed Curry , Chocolate Chip, and DSP is Razzeberry Lemonade.

Tonight Cody, Tasha and Junior will be coming home. They should arrive in time to see the fireworks. Hopefully the weather will be nice...

Wow Thursday all Ready

Good morning,

Where has this week gone. It sure seems to be flying by. My sister and Bro - in -law are leaving this morning to go back to Ottawa. Seems like I hardly got to spend any time with them.

Everyone enjoyed making their cards yesterday. It was a lot of fun!!! We stamped in the morning and the afternoon was spent at the lighthouse grounds. It was another beautiful day. The only thing is that when we were down at the water's edge some of the adults were throwing rocks... And Brayden had to throw also,now once he got home that is what he wanted to do.. We are trying to tell him that the light house is the only place he can throw rocks!!

I made this card last night after our company left. I'm really hoping that next week Brayden and I can settle into a routine so I can get some stamping in...

Masculine cards always are a challenge for me.

Today we are going to walk around town and check out the sidewalk sales that are going on. Then around the water front in the early afternoon, supper will be a potluck time with the family.. yeah....

A little sunburnt!!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to get back on the computer yesterday to post a card. But I do have one for today.

We went to the beach what a beautiful day we picked to go... Tiffany and I got sunburnt on our arms. Well Tiffany has this one spot where she must of wiped Brayden's sunscreen on herself...lol.. Here's a shot of Brayden enjoying the water...

This is the card that we will be making for our family card making day... There are a couple of young ladies coming also and I'm sure that the glitter will appeal to them...

Good Morning,

I didn't get a pic of the card I wanted to post will do that a little later on this morning. These late nights and family time is sort of keeping me busy!
We thought it would be a early night for Brayden hmm NOT it was midnight before he would finally give in and stay asleep. He however had a enjoyable evening with Grandpa while Mommy and Gramma went to Hostess Club.. I figured the fresh air with Grandpa would make him sleep..

Today we are going to Port Maitland beach, we have a plan in place incase of fog Ellenwood Park. Should be a fun day..

Well I managed to get one card made yesterday afternoon. In the evening we spent time with the family..

Another late night for Brayden. He will be in bed early tonight. Tonight he will have just Grandpa and me time. Tiffany and I will be going to the Hostess Club night. I'm sure they will both enjoy the time together.

The card I made is using my new gruffies stamp, Red Roller Racing... This little bear is just too cute. He is looking a litte scared must be moving a little too fast lol...

The DSP is from a pack of paper I picked up at the Dollarama!! You get 25 sheets of the same color pattern all for a dollar. I figure paper like this is good for layering its not heavy.

Not really sure what our day time plans are. Brayden will have to nap at some point this afternoon.

We arrived in Yarmouth around noon yesterday. And it was go go go all day long. Brayden was so excited to see all. But at the end of the night it was a fight to get him to bed. With that all said and done. I was just too tired to make any cards. I will try to get something posted later today..

Good Saturday Morning....
We are leaving early this morning to go back to Yarmouth. I really would like to have stayed longer as. The new stamp store I found is having a huge sale, and Wheatons is holding its yard sale also.... Oh well next time..
I didn't have a card scheduled to post so I thought I would show you one of the Hostess Rewards... They are just too cute. And they have a matching punch also...
Brayden and I had a great day together. He didnt' nap , Gramma sure wanted too. He is a busy boy. In the evening we went over to Cody and Tasha's for a visit. Well Brayden has found a few new stuffed friends over there and a LARGE doggy too. I think he was in heaven.

Good Morning All,

Well yesterday turned out to be a beautiful sunny day. Love it, cooled down in the evening though!

Went shopping found a new stamp store Oh my the samples were out of this world. Actually went there twice today, lol..

Today I will be spending my day with Brayden. I will be tired out by the end of this day. He is a busy boy. And his excema is breaking out again, around his eye this time poor little boy looks like a leper!

SO here's my card of the day.....

Cute little mouse in a tea cup! The base is Hmm you know I cannot remember and the card is home I just have the pic and I cannot tell if its Baja Breeze or Bashful Blue. The DSP I picked up at the Dollarama along with the bling.

Ticket corner punch was used on the white and they so yellow. And now I'm not sure which shade. Guess I should of made notes also when I posted the pic for me to use! Next time I will know.

Good  morning,

I arrived in Bedford safe and sound. Right now everyone has gone to bed... They both work tomorrow. Tonight we went over to Tiffany and Jr. apt. We were playing with Brayden. He is just a cutie.. We had an unfortunate accident while we were there. 3 of us were on the 3 week old sofa bed and Brayden was jumping on me and then SNAP /CRACK. 2 screws snapped in half.. I sure hope when they call  Gallery 1 they replace it!! Will keep you posted... I feel really bad :( I know it could of happened to anyone sitting there. But you know how it is when you get something new and that cost a lot of money.

This little purse is what I'm giving my friend tomorrow when we meet up. Inside holds 6 cards and envelopes. The DSP is retired SU paper. We have not seen each other in 17 years and I'm getting excited to see her.

Today I will be going to Michaels and Costco. That might be it no real set plan...

Morning all....

I'm off to the Halifax area for a few days. I want to be on the road by 9. Wonder if I can do it, I have to I'm meeting my friend 11ish is Bridgewater. I plan on going shopping (window) at some of the craft stores this afternoon. Tasha is going out and about with me she has the afternoon off...

I got my swaps all done now ! yeah. I will mail then as I leave.. I was up late last night getting things ready for this blog and chatting to my cousin Michelle... Also printed off my Michaels coupons just incase... And cleaning my desk off again...

Today card is not really a card more like a post card

I think that this is such a great idea for kids to remind thme of their manners.. This is Simple Birthday Thanks #111546 $23.95. The cherry and the sprinkles all have crystal effects on them.

Good day,

WOW the fog left yesterday and the sun actually came out and stay awhile. It felt like you were catching up with an old friend.

I managed to get some stamping done. I finished 1 of the swaps I'm in. Hostess Club is all taken care of now. Just need to finish the other swap today. And to get some cards made so I can blog while I'm away and then I will be busy with Family.

Still finding it hard to adjust to these glasses please tell me it gets better with time!!

The weather forecast is saying a sunny weekend lets all hope as I want to get the house painted... I won't be the one painting Skip will but I still want it done.

So what do you think of this cute little cat? I think she is hanging on for dear life. Card base is Bermuda Bay, Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Razzleberry Lemonade. Ribbon is ribbon that I had on hand.

Good Monday Morning....

Wow, where did the weekend go? Seems like it fly right on by. I have a list of things that need to get done today. If I get 1/2 of the list accomplished I will be happy. I only have today and tomorrow to get things done. Wednesday I'm going to Dartmouth and then when I return on Saturday I will have Tiffany and Brayden with me :) And the family will start rolling in for the reunion.

The sun came out yesterday, later in the day we went for a drive out to the light house been a long time since we have been out there. So before we leave town Skip says lets get a milkshake. So I agree as I love them. Well he pulls into McDonalds and I go in and order a large. WELL I didn't think large would be so LARGE... Needless to say we never finished them.

Today's card is a House Mouse image.. I colored with watercolor pencils.

I keep telling myself that I have to use more of my embellishments . I just cannot keep buying them to look at lol... So my goal is to start adding more embellishments to my projects...

I also colored another House Mouse image , that's as far as it got... I will finish the card and have it for when I'm away...

Doodle Flowers

Good Morning,

Last night I cut strawberries up and made 12 500ml bottles of jam. I think that is enough! Hmm maybe not...

I joined 2 swaps so I need to get working on those cards today. Swap #1 is black and white with a touch of color, #2 is a masculine card. I have an idea for both just need to make one card up of each and see if I like them.

The count down is on before the family arrives . And Reunion time begins. Grandpa has been busy working on things for Brayden. Put a new ladder up to the slide, the slide needs another coat of wax! He will fly right down :). Made a cart for pulling him around.

Todays card is made with a stamp set from Inkadinkado,

called Doodle Flowers. I colored the flowers with Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay markers. The matching Crushed Curry polka dot ribbon just ties it all together...

Oh Mr. Sun.....

Hello Stampers,

Apparently I do not know the difference between AM and PM as I had this post scheduled for the PM...

Oh, Mr. Sun won't you come out today... We are getting soggy and starting to mold... Well that's how we will all be soon...

Happy 4th of July to all my family and friends south of the border...........

Last night I was in a creative mood. And wanted to use the heat gun. Well, then I looked at the clock and it was close to midnight I dont' think Skip would of liked that noise. He had been in bed for a few hours. And my crafting room is next to our bedroom. So I thought twice on that idea. Why is it I always feel creative late at night... I know I'm an night owl for sure!!

I've had the glasses 5 days now and around the house is not too bad but get me out in the world YIKES... My head starts to spin. We were in Wal-Mart last night I ended up taking the glasses off. I was getting very dizzy, and almost that motion sickness feeling... yuck!!!

Here is one photo of our new kitchen. Things still not on the wall yet. I'm trying to find a before pic. I realize I need to get my disk labeled and in some kind of order. I know I have some just not sure what disk they are on. So for now I will just post this 1 after shot. The Mellow Moss paint is nice.....

Today's card is from the stamp set Think Happy Thoughts # 115092 $22.95. I find its a set I tend to push to the side. I will have to use it more often and it goes so well with our punches...

Card stock used Chocolate Chip, Gable Green Pretty in Pink and Whisper White.

Punches used Scallop Circle, 1 3/8 circle, 1 1/4 circle, and ticket corner.

1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Melon Mambo.

The brad is from the flower assortment.

The writing is from Birthdays Count note kit that just retired.

Skip is working for a bit this morning then he will be home. Not sure what our plans are for the rest of the day...

The kitchen is Finally all back together.. There are just a few things that I want to hang on the wall and that will get done today. Skip's off work for a long weekend....

Yesterday I got to talk and see my favorite little guy... Here is a pic of us chatting to each other.. He was pretending to be shy.... But I know better .. The shy-ness didnt' last very long...

Todays card is using Lovely as a Tree stamp set. To make the tree I used sponge daubers and Old Olive, Dusty Durango, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede ink. Layered on Chocolate Chip layered on More Mustard and the base is Dusty Durango. Then I stamped from the stamp set Wonderful Favorites, the words wonderful and friend... I love how the tree turned out I wasn't sure about the color combo but it worked...

Fun and Fast

Hello,
Did you all have a good Canada Day? The kitchen is complete to what we are doing right now. The floor and counter top will come next month..

If you have been to the Stampin’Up! Site you will have noticed that they are having a “ Deal of the Week” Promotion. As a Demo I will find out the same time you do what the Deal of the Week will be. Stampin’Up! Is not releasing that info early! There a button you can click on at the right of the page to show you the deal.

Here's another card using the Fun and Fast Notes #113500. Card stock is Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black. Watercolor paper. And Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. Together Forever is stamped in Rich Razzleberry ink, and punched out with the scallop oval.

Last night I was looking around the internet for awhile and came across this cut little cart. Sue Berker gets the credit for this . I must say that the next time I make one I will know a little more what I'm doing lol.. I just thought it was the cutest little flower cart...

Happy Canada Day !!!!!!!!

The Stampin' Up! year has come to an end, which makes my first full year with SU. And I just want to thank you for making this possible...

Today is the first day you can order from the new catalogue... 12pm mountain time which is 3pm Atlantic time... If everything falls into place as planned. But you know computers sometime there are gliches... Also, Bermuda Bay ink pad # 115655
& Bermuda Bay Ink Refill# 115661
will NOT be available when the new catalog goes live. Due to Ink quality issues. Stampin' Up! is fixing the issue and hope to have these available as soon as possible...

Today's card is from the stamp set Fast and Fun Notes #113500 $44.95. It's been awhile since I have used this set.. Card stock used : Soft Suede, Melon Mambo. Stamped the bird with stazon ink on watercolor paper. Then with the new in-color markers and aquapen I colored him in. The DSP is from the paper pack Razzleberry Lemonade #115675 $13.25

Added a touch of ribbon to tie it all together ( no pun intended lol). And I used the word window punch for the sentiment...

Skip got the kitchen all painted last night yeah... Today I will start puting things back in place.. He also painted the hallway the same color, and will have to put a 2nd coat tonight. We wanted to make sure the kitchen was done first and how much paint we had before starting on the hall.

I found blinds ,Skip says they will fit I hope so...
