Sorry I didnt' make it bak on here yesterday. Skip's birthday was Wednesday and here is the card he got from Brayden.. So cute....

Last Monday night we had our last hostess club for 2009. What a lot of fun we had, lots of laughs that is for sure.. I made these cute little faux suckers for all the gals.

Our tree is up. It's in place nothing on it yet. We always get a pine tree. Can't wait to see it decorated.

Good Morning,

Well the first week of December is done. Time is going fast, I have 2 decorations up and that is it. Skip said that he would get the tree this weekend and get it up.

Boy did it ever rain yesterday, and the wind thought the house was going to blow away by times. A few times it startled the dog and he would start barking.

Here is a gift bag I made awhile ago. You could do this with any size bag. To finish off the bag add tissue and tie with ribbon and now you have a beautiful gift bag!

Good Day All,

Well I think the rain is better than snow! I know that someone out there is wishing for snow, it's just not me...

Mom and I went to WalMart for a little bit I manage to pick up a couple of gifts. The outing tired me out. When Mom left my house I fell asleep and woke up to Skip coming home from work. And we were only gone for about an hour.

No card today I have a different project that I had been working on before my surgery. Christmas Ornaments. Clear glass balls , rub-ons,reinkers and glitter... How easy is that.. I plan on adding ribbon to them. They sparkle in the light so pretty...

As you notice my post are short, not because I have nothing to say. I find it hard to sit at the computer for a long period of time so I try to check e-mails and everything once I sit down.

The card is using a stamp I picked up in Halifax last time I was there. The Hello I had and the birds I drew freehand. Not sure if the card is off center or I was holding the camera off. Hope you like it.

Good Morning,

Have you guys missed me? I miss coming on here. But just didnt' have the energy to do anything but sleep most of my days away.

I'm hoping that this is it and I will be back in the blogging daily. We went to Halifax over the weekend, Skip had a function to attend while I stayed in the hotel room sick all night. I really have to watch what I eat I have been doing very good. We stopped and I bought a sandwich, must of had too much mayo for me ( only suppose to have small amounts). I wasn't planning on going with Skip anyways but wanted to feel better at least. Saturday we went over to visit with Brayden and Tiff and Jr. By the afternoon I was in a lot of pain so they all went out and I stayed home and slept. Brayden was very careful not to hurt me.

Don't forget Today is the last day of the Holiday Extravaganza You have until 5pm to get you orders into me. Take a look there are some terrific items and savings....

Good Morning, I'm slowly on the mend. I am a VERY slow healer so what would take you a week or 2 to heal will take a month or more for me. But each day I'm moving better and feeling better. Have to watch carefully what I eat.

I will be a few more days without any post I had emergency surgery on Sunday home today hopefully moving about by the end of the week.

Good Morning, The meds I'm on are just putting me to sleep. I slept just about all day yesterday. Today I'm hoping not to have the same effect.

Today's project is a great little something for kids. Add it to their stockings, along with another gift. Or just because.

Here I used the scallop circle punch, 1/2 " circle punch and hole punch. Dalzzling diamond Glitter. The candy is in one of the Clear Translucent envelopes. They come in a pkg of 50 for $6.50. Item # 102619. This works out to be about .13 cents per envelope.

Hopefully I do not sleep my day away today.

Sorry there will be no card today. I spend yesterday at the hospital, seeing the dr. getting blood work and then getting meds. I was in pain for most of the day and didn't get anything creative done. Hopefully the meds will kick in and I will feel better. Oh yeah dr. thinks maybe I have a ulcer!

I have news...........Skip and I are going to Grandparents again. Brayden will be a big brother in May...

My mojo has seem to flown the coop. Didnt' get any stamping done yesterday as I wanted to. Just couldnt' sit and come up with something. Even though I have lots of ideas, I just couldn't sit and do it...

The card I have today is a case card from somewhere. We made this card in club the other night... Looks really difficult to make but actually once you get going very easy... I think they all came out great... You know I was thinking I keep putting my Christmas cards on here. Everyone will have seen thier card before they get it lol... Oh well looking here is not the same as they are in real life. I think in realy life cards are much nicer...

Wasn't yesterday a beautiful day. Felt like a late spring day..

Here is one of the cards we made in club last night. This technique is called Split Negative. Looks hard to do but its really not. Stamp sets used is Serene Snowflakes #115438 set of 4, $27.95. Peace on Earth comes from the set called Four the Holidays # 116921 set of 4, $ 18.95. This set also comes in French. We also used a bold bright brad, Ticket corner punch and silver encore ink. Card stock- Real Red, Whisper White and Basic Black..

Did you have lots of little ghost and gobblins knocking at your door last night. Tiff had about 100. We took Brayden out at first he didn't want to nervous. Then once we were out he didnt' want to come home. Well when he got home and realized he got goodies he wanted to chow down. He was a good boy and shared. Even sent something home to Tasha who is still sick ...

I made it to Dartmouth, crossing on the bridge I thought I was going to be a gonner... a car pulled out in front of a truck both coming at me I had now where to go as there was vehicles on the outer lane and they had no where to go as there was vehicles in the outer lanes on that side. As the car and the truck went by me there may have been a finger of room and all I heard was scrapping metal.. When I got to Mic Mac where Tiffany works I was still shaking...

I picked Tiffany up when she was finshed work and we went to get Brayden Oh my was he ever excited when he noticed I was there too. He came down the stairs gave me a big hug and kiss, never even said Hi to his mom lol.. It's all Gramma....

My card today is a card I got from a friend in the Christmas card swap I joined .This card is made by Donna... I just love here colors and...

I survived another night of not feeling well. This better pass really fast! I'm leaving this morning to go to Bridgewater to visit a friend and spend the night. Then onto Tiffany's Friday morning. I'm just praying that I feel good.

To look at my hands you would think I have been stamping up a storm. But now working on glass ornaments. And I have ink all over me... I'm so happy with my self! I have club cards all figured out just need to cut them, Teck cards printed. I'm on a roll...

The Build a Bear meets Santa... This is too cute... I dressed my bear and added a few touches. So bling to his buttons and tip of hat. Added some fluff stuff to his beard, hat and cuffs. Now looking at him I should of added some eyebrows Ohh I will have to try it.. It might be too much though. Then I took the ornament punch and made his toy bag..

Lots to try and do today, grocery store, deliver the last of the coasters, laundry, gas up my car (well if you know me that will be Skip's job tonight) I'm going away for a few days. So I need to get my projects on here today also..

Good Morning; Hope your all in good health. I've been feeling a little under the weather hope that it passes quickly, as I have lots to do.

Does this card look familiar to you?? Well I made it a couple of days ago and had a trim around the edge with black and frost white shimmer. There was just something about that card I didnt' really like. So I hauled it apart and this is what I came up with. I like it much better.

Today I hoping to get cards ready for Hostess club in a couple of weeks. As I will be getting Brayden the end of the week and not sure just how much time I will have to do any stamping .

Morning Stampers...


Monday morning and back to a routine again.. This weekend we swapped beds around. Put a single captains bed up for Brayden. He wants a big boy bed when he comes to Gramma and Grandpa's. So that is done. Now hopefully he will not fall out of it.
I took the Bearing Gifts single stamp from the Holiday mini, left off the to and from. Turned it into a baby card... Also used on this card. Bold Bright Brads, Slit punch, markers, gold encore ink.

I heard something fall last night and could not figure out what it was. I looked around and didn't see anything. Now as I sit here to type I notice the lamp has falling. It's just a small desk lamp but still I should of noticed last night lol..

Ohhh I don't know if this has ever happened to you or not. I was yawning ( yes this has happened to you I know lol), as I'm yawning the muscles in my chin ( or whatever they are) knot up and a big lump appeared and I couldn't hardly move my mouth. And boy did it ever HURT... Hours later I could still feel where it had knotted up...

Do any of you have a HP psc 950 printer?? That's what I have its old but works great. Until a few weeks ago. It will not copy. Says warming up and that's as far as it goes. Then if it should copy you can't see the image on the paper. Now I can printed from word and things like that so I know its not the ink. Any help would be great!

Yesterday I held the coaster class, and what a great time we had. Always seems to laughter when you have women together! And look at some of the beautiful coasters that were made. It's hard to pick a favorite one, I like them all...

I know what a few people will be getting for Christmas lol..

Wow am I ever struggling with what to write here today... I think I'm just tired that is all. Yesterday was a super busy day. Make-up class went off smoothly, not that I expected it to go differently lol.

Yesterday turn out to be a nice sunny day! Gotta love those days when we can ,not many more nice days in the future I'm afraid to say.

Today is a busy day for me. This morning I'm getting my hair cut , then after lunch I will be looking after Jake for a few hours or so. And this evening I have a club make-up class.

Here's a pic of a blue jay that has been coming around with a few of his friends. Look close and you can see a sunflower seed in his mouth. Then I looked and there was Buddy looking out the window at the birds... He never even barked at them..

Card stock is Soft Suede, Bravo Burgundy Whisper White. Used Olive and Chocolate Chip markers for the images. The saying I used versa mark and white embossing powder. The Designer Paper is Thoroughly Modern. And a dimensional to pop up the owl.. cute, I know....

What are your plans for the day? I'm going to start working on my next club night. As I will be having Brayden the week before so nothing will get done that week lol.. I'm going up the end of next week to get him :) YAY!!!!

I used Melon Mambo, Thoroughly Modern Designer Series Paper, Whisper White, And Chocolate Chip. Fire Square brad and the scallop oval punch. Dazzling Diamond glitter. I love how the flowers turned out...

I joined a Birthday card swap a few months ago my 18 cards arrived yesterday. They were just beautiful. So so much talent out there. I still have the Christmas ones to come. I held that up..sorry!

Happy Monday to you!

Ahh Mondays what can I say... Today I have loads of laundry to do. Where does it all come from? I'm going to try and give Buddy a bath. Hopefully he will work with me so I do not hurt my back!

I tried my hand at brayering again yesterday. It is something you need to practice with inorder to get that right look. For me right now, it seems to be a hit or miss type of a thing.

I have another card today using the stamp set Inspired by Nature. I turned the grass into cat of nine tails.. Super easy and super cute...

I haven't picked a date for the Dasher class yet. Waiting to see if Braydens Grandad comes for a visit from Iqaulit or not. Once I know that and know when I'm having Brayden for a week I will then schedule the class...

Last time I was in Halifax I bought some 3D decoupage images I played around with them yesterday here is one that I did.. I had to use my sanding block and sand the edges a bit. Putting the car together was easy, I then had to think what do I want to go with it . This is what I came up with.. I think it makes a nice manly card. There are 2 more inmages in the pkg. that I have. Now that it's done I wish I had added a moon, Oh well.... I also used the stamp set Lovely as a Tree #115026 set of 6 for $ 36.95. And the Live Love Laugh is from the set On Your Birthday # 111664 set of 12 for $ 44.95

My 2nd card for today. Yes 2 cards in one day, I know amazing lol...

Here I used the stamp set called Inspired by Nature # 111656 set of 4 $31.95. The only thing I do not like about this set is that it's double mounted. I used Dusty Durango, More Mustard and Pumpkin Pie ink with my brayer. Chocolate chip ink on the grass. With Sympathy is from the set Teeny Tiny Wishes # 115370 set of 24 $ 48.95.

Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware # 112454 you get 200 pieces for $ 41.95. And Chocolate Chip 1/4" grosgrain ribbon.

Good Saturday Morning:

Club order arrive late yesterday afternoon. I just have a couple more to get out and everyone will have theirs. I'm hoping to see some of their new creations at our next club meeting.(hint hint)

Skip is working until noon. So I will make some cards this morning. I just got the Santa outfit for the Build a Bear so I want to make something with that.

For today I have a tag to show you. I used the stamp set Bearing Gifts its in the Holiday mini # 116531 $11.95 for the 1 stamp. I stamped the image 3 times and cut the bears body and head out pop that up cut the head out and pop that up. I think that I will add some glitter to make it more festive. Isn't this a cute set for kids gifts. Or let the kids color it in and give it added to Gramma and Grandpa's gift. ( or anyone else for that matter lol)

The Forest friends came wandering back YAY!!! Of course the opposite side of the room where I started looking....

I'm on the hunt for a missing stamp set. Forest Friends is missing. I searched high and low last night I will go over everything again today. It has to be here somewhere....

For the life of me I cannot figure out where it could be.

Well yesterday I worked on somemore coasters and here are 2 more samples. The snowman one is hard to see but in real life its cute. I added a little bit of stampin' pastels for color... AFTER I find forest friends I will work on more coasters. Positive thoughts here!!!

Hard to believe it's Friday already. I need to get busy and get things done.. For 1 I need to start making my Christmas List..
