Check this out on my Stampin'Up! site. Link is at the right of this page.. Check back often as this supplies will go fast and new ones will be added...
Good Morning to you,

Yesterday turned out to nice after all. Around 5ish it got fairly warm and hot in the house.

I cut out more build a bears. And make a few cards and printed one of the tech. cards for club night. Now to figure out what to do for the 2nd one.
Here's what I was talking about that is too cute... Its a bat box. Made with top notes... Skip thinks that he shouldn't have the eye lids what do you think?
Here is a closer view. I'd like to say that I came up with on my own but I didn't :( came across it in my internet travels... He is for sure not a scary bat...
Thanks for taking the time to stop in..

Good Morning Stampers,

I was late getting to bed last night I was cutting out clothing and accessories for the Build a Bears and just got carried away and forgot the time!.

I did make something cute yesterday but didn't get a picture of it so you will have to wait until tomorrow.. so tune in then to see....

Last night around 7ish, I happened to walk from the kitchen to the living room and something caught my eye out the window. I looked out and this is what was there... Skip had put apples out there earlier in the afternoon. We know that deer travel through the back yard but I just thought they travelled early morning... I will have to look out more often. The pic it a little blurry it is taken through the window. We didnt' want to scared them away. Mama deer never went very far from baby.. And the strangest thing Buddy didn't even bark. He just got up in the window to look with Skip and I now that's what I should of took a pic of...
Thanks for peeking in.. Off to start working on next weeks club cards.

Good Morning Stampers,

How ya doing today?? My back is feeling better :) So great... Yesterday turned out to be a terrific day, really warm in the sun.

Brayden got his hair cut yesterday. We went on web cam so he could show me his new hair cut. Looks cute.. But I really need to see him in person.. 2 more weeks..
I did something else with my Simple Seasonal Thanks snowman. Here I used marker to stamp and left off the writing part of the stamp. Then I cut him out. Made the box and stuck Mr. Snowman on the front. Added a Merry Christmas banner. Using the set Four the Holidays # 116921 set of 4 for $18.95.
Side view

This last picture ,with a little gift in the box. Or you could put candy or cookies in it also...
You know when I type this up I have the pic and writing just where I want them , then I preview and they are not the same sorry ...
Well off to see what I can create today..

Good Morning to you,

You can tell autumn is here, it's getting chilly out. The furnace kicked in a few time yesterday and last night. Guess it will soon be time to pack my capri's and dig out my jeans.. Such a sad time lol.. I love wearing capris!!

Oh my wait until you see this goodie I have for you today. I have lots of ideas for this.. I think this is a great idea to help kids say to use their manners and say thanks. You could stamp this big guy out and let the kids color him. No kids not a problem... Just remove the saying in the middle by either cutting it out or using your markers to stamp technique and leave the saying out!. Oh yeah the stamp set is called Simple Seasonal Thanks #111548 $23.95 single stamp. This can be found in the Holiday Mini. And if you would like to order him give me a call, email or order from my online store. Go to my stampin'Up! site and click on the online order link.
What I did here was stamp on Whisper White colored with my markers. And layered it on Real Red.( You could use this as a post card) And of course what would the snowman be without a little glitter. So I put dazzling diamonds on his hat! I just have 1 word to say ,
CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recieved a email from Debra yesterday. Thank you for your nice comments...
I have the baby swap to finish and the Christmas one ohhh I haven't even thought about the Christmas one... Yikes... I want them done and in the mail today! Why oh Why to I always wait until the last possible moment to do these things. I guess I think oh there is plenty of time, then I run out.
Thanks for peeking in today... Let me know what you think...

The Designer Paper is from Merry Moments # 115672 $13.25. Also used on this project 1/4" Real Red Grosgrain Ribbon and the eyelet border punch # 113692 $22.95

Good Day,
Are you liking the first full day of Autum? A little windy here, but the temp. was warm.
Well, yesterday I pulled something in my back. OUCH! By the end of the day I could hardly move and when I did it was very slow... Little sore this morning lets hope as the day progresses the pain does not.
My card for today is a Pumpkin. Card stock is Only Orange, sponged with Pumpkin pie, and white gel pen doodle lines. The stem is garden green sponged with Handsome Hunter. The banner is Elegant Eggplant with black doodle lines. The Hey is with the gel pen also.
I also took a side view for you to see how this is raised up.
The letters pumpkin are cut out with the Big Shot and white gels around. Cute... You could put any saying on the banner. Get for you Thanksgiving table, as place markers, and inside you could put why your thankful for that person.... Let your imagation run wild...

Good Morning,

How are you all doing? Last night I noticed that Skip took a piece of green galore to scribble on. It was a piece I had cut out for a card. He thought it was scrap paper! Uggg!! I know the desk is messy but right in front of him was paper I do my stamping off on NOW that is scrap paper....

Sooo my plan for today is to clean my room. As long as I do not get any phone calls to go babysit. I did go back yesterday in the afternoon for a few hours. I also HOPE to get some stampin done.
Here is a card that I had for my card class. I really like these colors together...
Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede. The card is so pretty in real life.
Well I must start the cleaning or it will never get done. And you know its only to start stampin again and make a mess all over. What a cycle..
Have a great day and thanks for peeking in.

Good Tuesday Morning to you all,

I spent a good part of last evening looking for the silicone rubber that goes to my Big Shot. I have no idea where I would of put it... Needless to say I did not find it. My craft room looks like a hurricane went through here.
Here's my card for the day. I saw a similar one on the net.. I used the ornament topper from Sweet Centers stamp set. Snowflake from Serene Snowflakes and Seasons Greetings from Snow Swirled. Stamped in Soft Suede. And the ornament has shimmer Paint Frost White added to it . Ribbon is White Organza. Its hard to see the shimmer in this photo.
I'm still getting the hang of the shimmer paint...
Well got errands to run see you all tomorrow...

Today's card is Dasher he is just too cute!!! Dasher is a single stamp # 116816 and is priced at $ 10.95! The card stock is Sahara Sand . Dasher is stamped in Soft Suede and Seasons Greetings is stamped in Real Red. Used my white gel pen to make the lines around the card and added just a touch of Dazzling Diamond glitter... I love it...

Good Monday Morning,
Tonight is Hostess Club. My goodness the month went fast...
We watched the planes from home yesterday. It's so hard to get a good picture of them. Well and as you know they are flying like 200 miles an hour. Lots of times I couldn't find them when looking in the camera!!
Look at what I've been working on. It's not finished yet. I need to pick up some dry eraser board markers (or whatever they are called) and attach one.
Today I have loads of stuff to do. I need to do laundry. Pack my clothes as I'm going to my neices for 3 days while she is recovering from surgery. I have projects to do for the weekend crafting classes. And print off my Fall class schedule...
So I better get off and go get something done...
I hope to be able to post over the next few days.. Hopefully I will have some new samples to show you...
Later

Good Morning,

Where has the weekend gone??? Sure went fast. Cody and Tasha are leaving to go home today. Last night I was thinking from now on when they come home I should be taking pictures. So I will be able to scrapbook them when I get the chance. Not like I can just snap a picture of them any day now!!!

This is what I will be passing out for Halloween treats... We do not get that many kids and I think they get enough candy as it is. I will probably make something else to go with. For now here is my start... These are super easy and fast to make...
What you will need is- Photo Corner Punch # 109042 $22.95, 1/2" circle punch # 104390 $8.50. A regular hole punch. Scallop circle Punch # 109043 $22.95. Also used on this project Glue dots # 103683 $ 6.95. Pencils were bought at a local dollar store...
Lately I have been thinking that a cat must be coming and spending the night on our patio. Well Cody happened to see the cat Friday night after he got home. But he just could of been passing by right. Last night I looked out the window and there was the cat curled up on the wicker seat that is out there.... No wonder some nights Buddy is going crazy, must smell that cat... Wonder if he has a home?
Enjoy your last day of the Labor Day Weekend.

Good Morning,
The floor is all done YAY!! And it looks good. We still have the baseboards to put on.
Now the dog is very scared to walk on the floor. I sure hope he does not think that I will be carrying him everywhere! It's not going to happen. He is just so so scared ! If it wasn't a pain it would be funny. You have to almost beg him to come. Then if he does get into the hallway he starts to come towards you then backs up comes a little farther then backs up and this can go on and on for quite awhile. Then he will get his mind set and run... OH what a dog....
The card I have today is a total case card. But I cannot remember just where from... Sorry!
My batteries are just about dead that's why the pic is dark I wasn't even sure if I had enough life in them to take the pic and get it on the computer...

Again I have used the stamp set Snow Swirled, it is paired up with Rich Razzleberry, Very Vanilla and Kraft card stock. Ink is Rich Razzleberry. I just thought this was so pretty I had to copy it...
Well have a great day and wish me luck with Buddy...

Thursday, September 3, 2009

Good Morning,

Another sunny one at that yeah.... I think we are getting our summer. Seems very strange for me this is the first year I have not had a kid going to school in almost 20 years! I miss the shopping for pens and notebooks. Might have to go and buy some for me...

Brayden like the bags I posted yesterday. So I'm going to make him a blue or green one. I will go out and buy that today. And send it to him on the weekend with his great grandparents who are going there.

I tried my hand doing cracked glass technique yesterday. I need to do it again. I find I cannot see the crack good. I think it's because I used a image with lots going on, going to try again later with a more solid image. I will let you know what happens..

Ooopss .. we did more on the floor last night I had this great idea to start off the other direction so I could get the fridge back in place . This is why I wait for instructions. Skip said ok and started working not even thinking. Well we have 1 row all wrong now.. We were sitting and Skip jump up and said we never even looked as to where our lines are! UGGG now we have to take that row out.. Good thing we didnt' go beyond there. And one more tidbit... Buddy is scared to walk on the floor. Takes a while for him to get anywhere.
Now tada....
today's card........
The stamp set used is Snow Swirled # 111690 set of 6 for $32.95. Card stock is Night of Navy, Very Vanilla and Going Grey. Also used in the making of this card-Square Fire Rhinestone.
