Good Monday Morning ...

I was just looking at a calendar that I have by the computer and hmm August only has 30 days...think someone made a huge mistake there! I checked to see when Sept. starts and its Tuesday so that's good the rest of the calendar is correct..

Look at these photo's I took of 2 humming birds that have been around here for the past week.. All summer they hardly came to my feeder! Look at his little wings go.

Here, he is perched about to take a drink.

Today I have 2 cards that I cased . Mummy and Frankie. There are just too Cute.... and very easy to make...

Ohh I'm excited today I'm going over to see Giovanni and his baby brother Jacob and look after them for a little bit :)

Delightful Decorations

Good Morning...

Oh my what a rain storm. Knocked the dish out for quite awhile. Not that there was much on TV to start with.

Yippee!!! We bought our flooring for the kitchen yesterday. Guess that means another mess but it will be so worth it once its done... Now for Skip to find the time to lay it down... I can hardly wait... Only 1 more thing after the flooring the counter top... And I think I know what I want for that I just need to see the floor down first to make sure.

Now unto todays card.....
Here I used another new set from the Holiday Mini.. So many goodies in this mini!
This set is called Delightful Decorations #116517 set of 7 for $28.95 (available starting Sept. 1, 09) The Greeting is from Heard from the Heart # 111644 set of 4 $30.95. Card stock is Bashful Blue, Whisper White. Ink colors are Real Red, YoYo Yellow and Glorious Green Night of Navy Gold Elastic cord is also used. Eyelet punch was also used. There is a new punch starting in Sept and its an ornament punch. That will punch out these ornaments... I don't have the punch yet so I cut them out. Can't wait to get the punch though..

Good Saturday Morning...

I impressed myself yesterday! I managed to get 5 yes I said 5 scrapbook pages made. I think that really made my day then I went on and made 2 cards WOOHOO I'm on a roll... Lets hope the MoJo stays... And the energy!

I have 4 swaps that I have now joined good thing they are only small swaps. I do have to make a total of 24 cards. 1 is Christmas and the other 3 are birthday boy, girl and baby... I have ideas floating around in my head for the birthday ones.

Today I need to run to the dollarstore and buy some brown felt if I can find it.

My card today is using the Forest Friends # 113748 set of 4 $ 19.95 . And hello is from theset called Teeny Tiny Wishes # 115370 set of 24 fro $48.95. Card stock is Crushed Curry and Soft Suede.

DSP Razzleberry Lemonade ( yes I love this paper)... Also used the new Modern Label Punch # 116630 $22.95 and the Word Window Punch # 105090 $22.95. These 2 punches go great together. And Soft Suede 1/2" Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon # 115612 $14.95 or 15 yards... Love the ribbon and comes in all the new in colors...

Good Friday Morning....
Another Twick or Tweet card for you this morning... This little pumpkin makes me smile... Just like the stamp says... Told you that I thought this set was cute..


Oh my, I found last night chilly. I had to put my slippers on.. Guess that's a sign that Fall is on its way! I managed to get a few cards made yesterday yay! My plan for today is to scrapbook.. Hopefully that will happen I have over 100 pictures printed off .

Good Morning,

All the ribbon was cut and the orders delivered yesterday.. :) The Holiday Mini Catalogue arrived on my doorstep just in time to go out with the orders...Couple new Hostess Rewards in there, and they are sooo nice... I love the snowman one.

My card today is using the Big Shot and the scallop circle die. The card base is Very Vanilla, DSP is from Mellow Moss for the Hostess rewards pkg. And the stamp is from the On your Birthday set. I also used Chocolate Chip ribbon and soft suede for the small scallop that was punched out...

Christmas Punch

Good Day....

Another week , another month flying by. Where did the summer go???

Skip and I went out to dinner last night and had a very nice meal.. We then stopped to Mom and Dad's as I wanted a pic of us to scrapbook. Well let me tell you we are lucky to get a picture taken. The mosquitos were out of this world..

Check out page 14 in the 09/10 idea book and you will see somthing like this... I made my box using Real Red. I really like how it came out and the gift tags are cute, the backs are stamped with to and from...

Grrr there is a fly buzzing around me... Yuck I hate flies...

Well my SU order didn't arrive. The last couple of orders have been saying out for delivery and I have been only getting them a day later... GRRR... I get all excited when I know an order is coming...

Can you say Bye Bye Bill. Thank goodness Bill is gone. Skip and I went out for a drive late yesterday afternoon.
Here is one of the pic I took. We were very careful about where we stood and I zoomed in. Even though we were far from shore we still got a little wet from the mist . It was amazing to see these huge waves. I think if we had gone out earlier they would of been much bigger. The tide was going down and had been for about an hour or so.




I have cards made just didn't take any pictures of them. I will take them later and post. I'm that my SU order arrives today. Then I have to do up the ribbon share , before I hand out the orders so over the next couple of days you will be getting your order...

I hope that everyone is safe from Bill's path.. We brought in everything we thought could blow away... Hopefully the neighbours did too. I don't want anything going through our new windows....

Here's another sneak peek into the Holiday mini.. I just fell in like with this Halloween stamp set called Twick or Tweet! its a set of 4 more to come later... Halloween is not a big card giving time for me. This year it might just have to be. Last night I made 3 other Halloween cards YIKES....

I still haven't made an Anniversary Card for Skip yet.. Must get that done only 2 more days before our Anniversary... When I come up with something then I think oh that's too girly to give him... HMM must put my thinking cap on lol... Any suggestions would be welcome...

Good Saturday Morning to you....

Not sure why some days I have a hard time trying to figure out what to write about. And I just sit and look at a blank page. I don't want to repeat myself too often which I'm sure that I have done.

Now onto todays card......TADA......

Dreams du Jour stamp set is a set of 4 #111624 for $24.95. Card stock used is Melon Mambo, Whisper White, DSP is yes you guess it lol.. Razzleberry Lemonade. And to bring it all together 1/2" Melon Mambo Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon. The Ticket corner Punch # 107214 $9.75 was also used. This punch is a must have .

Im not sure what our plans are for the day. Skip is working for a bit this morning then I guess once he gets home we will decide what to do...

So until that time I think I will put my thinking cap on and create a few things... Well at least 1 thing lol..

Finally a little relief from the heat, in our neighbourhood anyways...

Yesterday I spent most of the day cleaning and organizing my craft space... I need more shelving or I need to start using more supplies. Maybe its a little of both lol..

I came across lots of these Sesame Street characters while cruising the internet. Today I have made Elmo... Elmo could be a birthday card, get well card, invitation you name it !

Good Morning...

Ohhh the drama on Big Brother 11... It always amazes me how some people can go on these shows then act like they are 2 when things do not go their way!!! I will however keep watching lol...

My Mojo struck me yesterday afternoon. I completed 5 cards and have another 1/2 done.

OH the heat! We are in a heat wave, not as hot here as it is in Halifax though. The muggy weather is not good for my hair. So its been a bad hair week for me...

Brayden spoke to me last night lol.. Not for long but at least he took the phone.

I made my first Build a Bear card....I think she came out cute...

Here I used Bear Bigz die (available Sept. 1st) Along with the new stamp set Berry Nice Wishes a set of 6 for $22.95 also coming in September. To make the accessories I used the Beary Girl Sizzlits and then added some pearls...

Today I'm going to see what else I can do with this die!!

Oh and guess what another sneak peek is a costumes for the bears. Mr and Mrs Santa , witch and pumpkin. They are just too cute...

Hello there!


Brayden is still angry with Gramma he wouldn't talk to me on the phone last night, but wanted to talk to the dog!!


I got my preorder Friday for the Holiday mini and today. But my mojo must still be on holidays... I sat and I looked at all the new stamps and thought oh I could do this or I could do that. But you know that is as far as my creative side made it... :-( I know!!!


But I do have a card to show you. I picked this silver paper up at the dollar store it comes in a pkg of black and silver and has an adhesive back. This was not what I planned on using it for but thought it looked great with Christmas themes. I wanted to put a snowflake brad also but cannot seem to find where I put them..So I added this fabric one.

A Fantastic Weekend

Good Morning,

I had a terrific weekend hope that you did too. Our room was nice. We had a King size bed(LOVED it), the WEATHER was the best. (Very HOT!!) We watched the Buskers. Had short little visits with Tiffany and Jr. , Brayden, Cody and Tasha. It was a relaxing time. My only regret is not getting a pic of Skip and I. And I only took maybe 6 pic all together.

I will make sure to get a picture of Skip and I on our Anniversary date so I can scrapbook it..

When we had to leave Brayden after a quick little visit with him. He was not ready to let Gramma and Grandpa leave and got very upset! He is saying no no and Tiffany looks like she is struggling a little with him!

My card pick today is a Purse card using a top note. I added

a little square rhinestone for some Bling!! Very easy to do.

Today I'm hoping to get to play with all my new goodies that arrived about an hour or so before we left on Friday...

Good Morning,

Today we will be checking out of the hotel and spending sometime with the kids.(guess they are not really kids anymore!) But I will always refer to them as the kids I guess just a habit.

Poor Brayden he thought that our dog Buddy was coming to visit him also. But I think he is just as happy to see Grandpa and Gramma. We probably won't see him again until his 2nd Birthday..

I had this saved on the computer I didn't mark who orginally made it. I used tinfoil for the belt buckle. And Basic Black cs for the belt, I think black ribbon would be nice also..This was very easy to make and you could make then in lots of different styles...Earrings, Necklaces Rings would fit nice in this little gift bag.

What a Beautiful Day...

Good Saturday Morning..

I hope the sun is out where you are! It's beautiful here. We are in Halifax, at the Four Points Sheraton... Celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary,which is the 25th of this month. This was the only weekend we could get away... The Busker Festival is going on so there is lots of entertainment for us. When I get home I will post pic of our room.

Today's card is our Forest Friends.. This little owl is too cute... Here I made the scallop circle in Rich Razzleberry. DSP is Raspberry Lemonade. This is a quick and simple card... Hope you like it..

Well I'm a little disappointed , my SU order didn't arrive yesterday. Hopefully it will be on the truck today... It should be it says out for Delivery..Well said that yesteday also!

Oh we finally found those papers that Skip was looking for. And I'm happy to say that I was not the one who touched them :-)

I'm still trying to come up with a Anniversary card for Skip. I had a idea but it wouldn't work so back to the drawing board.

My card today is another Fifth Avenue Floral card. I love how these colors go together. Mellow Moss, Pumpkin Pie and So Saffron, Whisper White. And pulling it all together is the chocolate chip ribbon..

The More the Merrier

Hi and Good Morning,

I was on a roll last night and didn't want to go to bed. I was pumping out the cards. Hey! That is a good thing as we will be gone for the weekend and now I will have something to put on here :)

My SU preorder for the Holiday Mini is suppose to arrive today. I'm so excited as I will be getting the NEW Build a Bear sizzix die! I "pawsitively" can't wait LOL...

Along with some new Christmas stamps and Shimmer Paint..

Last week when I took Brayden home I took him to Build a Bear, and he picked out a black lab and called him Buddie.. He just loves his Buddie. Don't know if you can notice or not but Buddie has a little lab that he carries around in his mouth... CUTE!!!!!!!

My card for day is a Christmas one.... For those of you that know me I LOVE snowmen! Stamp set used THE MORE THE MERRIER!(Level 3), Christmas Punch (Level 2 Hostess-only set!!!)Accessories: modern label punch, word window punch, assorted Stampin' Write Markers, dimensionals, Bermuda Bay ink, Dazzling Diamond glitter.

Happy Birthday..

Hello

Got my car back last evening. YAY!!! Today I have some errands to run. I got a few cards made and colored some images in yesterday. And had a nice nap in the afternoon.

I recieved my cards from the masculine swap I joined. Everyone did a great job. I can remember when I made cards for my first swap. I was a nervous wreck and kept trying different cards always think well maybe they will like this better.. Now I'm a little , and I mean litte better.

The card I made for today is clean and simple.. I used the Birthday Wish (dormant list) and Simple Flower Embosslit die, The flower is Summer Sun. And the leaves are with the Little Leaves sizzlits die in Old Olive. The center of the flower is a Fire Circle Rhinestone in Pumpkin.

I really need to get more light on my cards they look so much better in real life..

Hello there,

I'm without a vehicle today. My car is in the garage to get the brakes fixed.. It was really starting to have quite a shake to it...

Last night was Hostess Club, I heard lots of laughter so I guess everyone was having a good time... This is one of the cards we made.. Here we used the True Friend stamp set. Card stock is Melon Mambo, Regal Rose, and Whisper White. Ink is Melon Mambo. And used the white gel pen to add all our dots... The ribbon is the melon Mambo polka dot reverse side.. And the fire circle rhinestone for the center... Can you say cute?

I have an order coming on Thursday yeah... I can hardly wait it will have my new goodies from the Holiday Mini. Hopefully it arrives on time...

Not sure what is my plan for the day. I joined 3 swaps so I could work on those cards... I'll see

Last night I was looking at my SU paper oh my I need to put an order in... My supply is starting to run low... And of course I wanted to use a color and only had a few scraps of it..
I was looking at my SU catalogue, and my wish list just keeps getting longer and longer... And with the Holiday mini around the corner YIKES I'm in trouble...
I was blog hopping and looking at some of the SU convention Pic.. I'm so jealous of those that were there... They were able to purchase a Build a Bear - bear with an SU apron! ohhh it was so cuteeeeeeeee.... I'm hoping that they go on sale for all demos...
I dont' have a card to post today, I need a few new things on my display board tonight so I wil post the cards tomorrow....

What a nice sunny day we had yesterday! I was glad the sun was shinning but it was a little cool in the wind. And it's always windy at my house.


Skip and I went to Digby yesterday. It was a nice drive... YAY!! Skip managed to get 2 coats of paint on the shed yesterday...


I whipped this card up last night. I think its cute...

Good Saturday Morning!

I'm hoping that this post will go through I'm having alot of problems with my internet connection. Yesterday was terrible so SLOW... So just hope that nothing happens while I type this out...



How are you all on this nice weekend? Hope you're all in good moods? Me better now last night I spent part of the night looking for some papers that Skip has misplaced. I have no clue as to where he would of put them and right now neither does he. So we started searching then gave up . I will look some more this morning. I have feeling that what he is looking for may of accidentally got tossed with the flyers.

I got a little bit of crafting time in yesterday. The SU order came in Yeah... I took my glasses in to be tighten as Brayden had them just about split in 2 one day. YIKES!!

Made another card using the Trendy Trees # 113258 set of 8 for $23.95. This is just a cute set..Cardtock is Whisper white, Old Olive, Soft Suede. Soft Suede polka dot ribbon #115612 $14.25 for 15 yds. I love the polka dot ribbon.. And the scallop edge punch was also used, # 112091 $22.95. Ink used Dusty Durnago, Soft Suede, and Old Olive... I didn't add a sentiment just yet. Will add that later when I go to use the card..
